<p>This study aims to explore the learning style and motivation of Batu Lanchang Vocational College students during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study involved five students studying at Batu Lanchang Vocational College, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. This study uses both qualitative and quantitative methods. It is conducted during three psychoeducational sessions. Data analysis using content analysis techniques. The results found that the respondent's learning style is not bound to one style only and it is diverse. But it depends on the convenience and comfort of the respondent (dominant). From the aspect of motivation, respondents are more inclined to intrinsic motivation which is internal motivation because they want to achieve goals based on internal desire. Next, the relationship between learning style and student motivation is that respondents have experiences that can be used as motivation and reinforcement, namely intrinsic motivation, there is a relationship between learning style and student motivation. <p>This study was conducted to explore the causes and effects of stress among novice school counselors during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study employs a qualitative approach with combination data collection techniques of observation, interview and document analysis. The respondents involved six counselors who have just started their careers for less than one year in high school settings. The six respondents were sampled using the purposive sampling methodology. The main result of the study found that all respondents agreed that their feelings before taking up the position of a teacher and after becoming a teacher had many changes. It is also found that all respondents have a good understanding of the pressures and challenges they go through. <p>Counseling methods with integrated information and communication technology in schools are interesting to discuss. Recently the conditions of the COVID-19 Pandemic have made all educational activities in schools online, and in Indonesia. We predict the use of information and communication technology in high school students to be easier to implement. Because they are more familiar with information and communication technology than students at the primary school level. This qualitative study aims to describe the experiences of students in secondary schools receiving online counseling. The semi-structured interviewed involved eight students, both chat messages and video call session by WhatsApp application. Participant of study are students has experience attending online group counseling via video conferencing. Data on the benefits of online group counseling, experiences in cyberspace, and barriers were analyzed thematically. The findings in this study explain that online group counseling has provided a solution, and some students feel it is precious to help. Their insight and self-help increase on the issues discussed. It was so convenient for them that some students expressed relationship school counselor with students-client. Network problems and smartphone overheating are obstacles. The implications of the results of this study as a reference for improving the implementation of online counseling.</p>I Putu Agus Apriliana

<p>The research objective was to apply group counseling and symbolic modeling technique to improve students' academic resilience during online learning at SMP Negeri 15 Palu. This action research used Kemmis and McTaggart's model was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research participants were eight students who got the lowest academic resilience questionnaire scores on online learning. Data collection techniques were questionnaires, observation instructions, interviews, and documentation.The research results indicated that the average level of student academic resilience during online learning is pre-action by 48.86%, increasing to 65.90% after the first cycle is carried out, and the second cycle increased to 79.54%. The success rate of cycle II has been improved based on the results of reflections from the first cycle. Therefore, it can be concluded that group counseling with symbolic modeling technique can affect increasing students' academic resilience during online learning at SMP Negeri 15 Palu.</p>Durrotunnisa DurrotunnisaErniati Erniati

<p><strong>Abstract</strong></p> <p>The literacy level in Indonesia is relative low. However, different conditions show that parents want their children to be able to read and write before entering primary education. This is challenge for teachers at the early childhood education level to choose appropriate learning strategies to build a culture of literacy in Hardika Jaya Kindergarten. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were five teachers at Hardika Jaya Kindergarten. This study use the documentation method with research instrumens in the form of questionnaires and observations sheets. The research data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method, which include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Then triangulation of data, researchers, and theory was carried out. The results showed that teachers used direct strategies to introduce books to children through observing books, reading, telling stories, playing role, asking questions, and motivating children. <p>This research was conducted at SMPN 9 Denpasar in class VII which has low discipline behavior. This counseling guidance action research aims to determine whether Group Guidance Services can improve student discipline behavior. Research data on student discipline behavior was collected using a self-discipline questionnaire and observation results. Data were analyzed using percentage descriptive analysis. The results obtained from this study indicate an increase in student discipline behavior from an initial average of 44% to 63% in cycle I, and to 87% in cycle II. <p><em>The goal to be achieved in this research is to increase the learning interest of class X.2 students of SMA Dwijendra Denpasar for the 2022/2023 academic year through the application of behavioral counseling with positive reinforcement techniques. The research subjects were class X.2 students who had high deviant behavior totaling 5 students consisting of 3 male students and 2 female students. Based on the results of the data and discussion of the results - the results of the study can be concluded (1) there is an increase in student interest in learning individually and in groups. (2) the score of students' interest in learning before the group action was 221 and the average was 44.2 after being given the action in cycle I became 303 and the average was 60.6 with the percentage increase as a group of 176.5% with an average of 35.3 %. In cycle II, the score increased again to 381 and an average of 76.2 with an increase in group percentage of 193.2% with an average of 38.64%. Thus the results of this study can be concluded that the application of behavioral counseling with positive reinforcement techniques can increase student interest in class X.2 SMA Dwijendra Denpasar, academic year 2022/2023.</em></p>Pradnyanica Luh Ade Giri Putu Agus Semara Putra

<p>The implementation of guidance and counseling in school learning is very necessary, considering that students are in the adolescent stage. At this stage, a person experiences many physical and psychological transitions that should affect their behavior, including students' career insights and readiness. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of podcast-based classical guidance services to prepare students' career insights and planning. This study used a class action research method with a total of 29 students. The research was conducted through 2 cycles which began with the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection in each cycle. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively by describing the facts collected and presented in the form of descriptions. The result of this study was an increase in career insight and readiness in students after being given podcast-based classical guidance services. <p>This research includes Classroom Action Research (PTK). Action research is "action research conducted by a teacher in a classroom or school, with a focus on improving or strengthening learning processes and practices" The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative analysis technique, namely analyzing the data obtained through the depiction of numbers to obtain conclusions based on the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the provision of group counseling with positive reinforcement techniques is very effective to use so as to obtain a decrease in the first action cycle of bullying behavior in students ranging from in cycle I there was a decrease in bullying behavior in students between 28, 23% to 22.22% with an average value as a group of decreasing bullying behavior in students between 25.358% in cycle II to a decrease in bullying behavior in students between 35.38% to 30% with an average value as a group of decreasing bullying behavior of 33.928% so that it can be concluded that the use of group counseling is able to suppress bullying behavior in students in class XI IPS 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Susut in 2023, this means that the behavior of the perpetrator who needs to receive ongoing treatment in accordance with the characteristics of the child's problems so that it is hoped that this child will no longer commit violence both physically and psychologically against his classmates.</p>Anggareni Ni Luh Trisna Dartiningsih Made Wery
