Abstrak

Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) plays a strategic role in shaping the character of democratic and responsible citizens. This study aims to examine the application of educational philosophical values ​​in the PPKn learning process at SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan. The method used was descriptive qualitative research through participatory observation and in-depth interviews using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted in stages, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of philosophical values ​​occurs eclectically, combining elements from essentialism, progressivism, perennialism, and reconstructionism. Teachers have a sufficient understanding of philosophy as a foundation for learning, but internalization of values ​​in students has not been optimal. Students tend to understand these values ​​cognitively but experience obstacles in applying them to real life. This study recommends the need for more contextual, reflective, and authentic experience-based learning strategies
