Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance elementary school students' interest and understanding of English language learning through the application of interactive animation-based multimedia technology. English learning in elementary schools still faces various challenges, such as lack of student interest and the use of conventional, less engaging methods. Therefore, the proposed solution is the development of interactive digital learning media utilizing animations as attractive and easily understood visual aids for students. The implementation method includes designing learning media and classroom implementation. The results of this activity show an increase in students' learning interest and their understanding of English materials. Based on the data obtained, there was an increase in students' learning interest in grade 6 from 45% to 90%, grade 5 from 50% to 85%, and grade 4 from 40% to 80%. Teachers also found the media beneficial in making the teaching process more effective and interactive. Therefore, the application of interactive animation-based multimedia technology positively contributes to creating a fun learning environment and improving the quality of English language learning at the elementary school level.
