Jurnal Pendidikan IPS Indonesia is a scientific journal published by the Ganesha Graduate University of Education. This journal aims to accommodate articles of research results in the field of social science education. In the end, this journal can provide a description of the development of science and technology in the field of social science education for the academic community. This journal is published twice a year.

Jurnal Pendidikan IPS Indonesia has become a member of CrossRef with a DOI: 10.23887/pips so that all articles published by the Indonesian Social Studies Education Journal will have a unique DOI number. The Indonesian Social Studies Education Journal was first published in 2017 and regularly published twice a year since 2017 until now. The Indonesian Social Studies Education Journal is accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology / National Research and Innovation Agency (RISTEKBRIN), Republic of Indonesia, which is ranked Class Six (Rank 5, Sinta 5) from Volume 4, Number 1, 2020  based on Decree No. 200/M/KPT/2020 regarding the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals Period III 2020, December 23, 2020.
