Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) plays a crucial role in the Industry 4.0 revolution, yet its implementation remains limited, particularly among vocational high school (SMK) students. This community service aimed to enhance the technological literacy and practical skills of students at SMK TI Bali Global Singaraja in the field of IoT. The training was conducted using a project-based learning (PBL) approach involving fundamental IoT components, such as sensors, microcontrollers, and cloud platforms. Following the training, students were expected to be able to design and implement simple IoT projects. Evaluation results indicated that 75% of the students were initially unfamiliar with IoT, and 90% had never programmed an IoT system before. After the training, there was a significant improvement in the students' understanding and practical skills in designing and programming IoT projects. This training also had a positive impact on the development of learning media and supported the vision of SMK TI Bali Global Singaraja to produce graduates who are technologically adaptive and prepared for the challenges of Industry 4.0
