PENGUATAN KEMAMPUAN LITERASI DAN NUMERASI SISWA JENJANG SEKOLAH DASAR MELALUI PENGEMBANGAN PERPUSTAKAAN DIGITAL MANDIRI BERBASIS WEB APLIKASI
Abstract
Good literacy and numeracy skills are key to students' success in school and their future. However, traditional libraries in schools often have limitations, such as minimal book collections and limited operating hours. To overcome these weaknesses, training in web-based digital library development with the Google Sites platform is an effective solution. This platform makes it easy for users to create web pages without requiring high IT skills. This community service program uses a combination of demonstration and Research and Development (R&D) methods, with outputs in the form of website-based digital products. In this training, the team acted as facilitators and tutors for teachers and school librarians. The web-based digital library application was able to support the improvement of teachers' digital literacy and students' literacy and numeracy. The development of this digital library is expected to be a model for other schools to strengthen students' literacy and numeracy skills, especially at the elementary school level.
