PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI ONLINE BERBASIS GAMIFIKASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI BAHASA INGGRIS LISTENING DAN READING COMPREHENSION DALAM PERSIAPAN TOEIC TEST

Abstract
Meningkatnya kebutuhan akan kemampuan bahasa Inggris di kalangan mahasiswa kesehatan telah mengungkap kesenjangan dalam persiapan mereka untuk tes standar seperti TOEIC. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi online berbasis gamifikasi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan listening dan reading comprehension, guna menjawab kebutuhan akan solusi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang mudah diakses dan menarik bagi mahasiswa Poltekkes Kemenkes Malang. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), yang melibatkan 30 mahasiswa dengan skor TOEIC di bawah 450. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dan tes TOEIC simulasi, dengan analisis data secara kuantitatif menggunakan uji t-test untuk mengevaluasi peningkatan skor pretest dan posttest, serta analisis kualitatif untuk menilai motivasi dan keterlibatan mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada skor listening (28%) dan reading comprehension (25,93%). Uji t mengonfirmasi perbedaan signifikan antara skor pre-test dan post-test. Analisis kualitatif mengungkapkan peningkatan motivasi dan keterlibatan mahasiswa. Aplikasi ini terbukti valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa Inggris, memberikan solusi inovatif untuk pembelajaran bahasa di era digital. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan metode pembelajaran bahasa Inggris berbasis teknologi di institusi pendidikan tinggi kesehatan.
