KOLABORASI GURU PPKn DAN ORANG TUA DALAM PENANAMAN NILAI TOLERANSI PADA SISWA KELAS VIII DI SMP NEGERI 4 SINGARAJA

Abstract
This research is a field research that uses a qualitative research type approach with data collection techniques through several methods namely observation methods, interview methods, and documentation methods. The data that has been collected by the author, then analyzed to support this research. The subjects in this research are students, PPKn teachers, and parents of students. Based on this research, it was found that 1) The tolerance value for class VIII students of SMPN 4 Singaraja has been practiced well. This can be proven when students can accept and respect the differences that exist at school and at home. 2) PPKn teachers play an important role in inculcating the value of tolerance in students, teachers can insert the inculcation of tolerance values during learning in the classroom. 3) Parents as the first and foremost educators of a child also have an important role in the process of inculcating the value of tolerance. Parents instill the value of tolerance in children as the first educator figures in childhood. 4) Collaboration between PPKn teachers and parents is carried out by means of communication and coordination which is done through face-to-face meetings or through existing community groups. This collaboration is very appropriate in instilling the value of tolerance in students so that students can have a high sense of tolerance in responding to existing differences.
