Post-Publication Discussion Policy

Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Indonesia encourages scholarly discussion and constructive feedback on published articles to promote academic dialogue, transparency, and the advancement of knowledge in English language education and related fields.

1. Submission of Comments and Responses

Readers, researchers, and members of the academic community may submit comments, questions, or critical responses concerning articles published in JPBI through the journal's official contact channels.

Submissions must be relevant to the published article, respectful, evidence-based, and consistent with academic standards and publication ethics. Comments should focus on the scholarly content of the article rather than on personal criticism.

2. Editorial Assessment

The editorial team will assess submitted comments and responses for relevance, scholarly merit, accuracy, and suitability for publication. The authors of the original article may be invited to respond to substantive comments to ensure a fair and balanced discussion.

Accepted comments and responses may be published on the journal's website or through another appropriate publication format, subject to editorial review. The editorial team retains responsibility for decisions concerning publication.

3. Ethical Standards

Post-publication discussions must not contain personal attacks, defamatory statements, unsupported allegations, or other content that violates research integrity or publication ethics.

Allegations of research misconduct will be handled in accordance with JPBI's Allegation of Research Misconduct policy.

4. Errors and Concerns Regarding Published Articles

If a post-publication discussion raises credible concerns about the accuracy, reliability, or ethical integrity of a published article, the editorial team will assess the matter and conduct further inquiries where necessary.

Depending on the findings and the seriousness of the issue, appropriate action may include publishing a correction, an expression of concern, or a retraction, in accordance with JPBI's Correction and Retraction Policy.

5. Fairness and Transparency

JPBI is committed to handling post-publication discussions fairly, objectively, and transparently while respecting the rights and responsibilities of authors, readers, and other parties involved. All decisions are made in accordance with the journal's editorial policies and publication ethics standards.
