Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Indonesia Vol. 11 No. 2 (2023) comprises five scientific articles addressing various issues in English language education, including self-efficacy and students’ academic achievement, online game addiction and English proficiency, vocational high school students’ learning styles in understanding analytical exposition texts, the use of single pictures to improve descriptive writing skills, and the improvement of students’ ability to use the past continuous tense through personal experience narratives.

The articles were authored by researchers and academics from four higher education institutions, namely ITB STIKOM Bali, Universitas Klabat, Universitas PGRI Semarang, and Bengkulu University. These institutions are located in four cities or localities in Indonesia: Denpasar, Airmadidi in North Minahasa Regency, Semarang, and Bengkulu. This issue contributes to the advancement of English language education through research on factors influencing academic achievement, learner characteristics, and the application of instructional strategies and media to improve English language skills.
