Authorship Criteria
Jurnal Teknologi Pembelajaran Indonesia is committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and integrity in authorship. Authorship should be granted only to individuals who have made significant intellectual contributions to the research and manuscript.
To qualify for authorship, each author must meet the following criteria:
-
Substantial Contribution: Authors must have made substantial contributions to the conception or design of the study; the development, implementation, or evaluation of learning technologies; the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of research data; or other significant intellectual aspects of the reported work.
-
Writing and Critical Revision: Authors must have participated in drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.
-
Final Approval: All authors must review and approve the final version of the manuscript before submission and agree to its publication if accepted.
-
Accountability: All authors must take responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of their contributions and cooperate in addressing any questions or concerns regarding the research or publication.
-
Author Contributions and Order: The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all eligible contributors are appropriately acknowledged as authors, that no ineligible individuals are included, and that all authors agree on the order of authorship before submission.
-
Corresponding Author Responsibilities: The corresponding author serves as the primary contact with the editorial office throughout the submission, peer-review, and publication processes. The corresponding author must ensure that all authors have approved the submitted manuscript and that any changes to authorship are agreed upon by all affected authors and communicated to the editor.
-
Non-Author Contributions: Individuals who have contributed to the research but do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately, with their consent. Activities such as funding acquisition, administrative support, language editing, or data collection alone do not automatically qualify an individual for authorship.
-
Prevention of Improper Authorship: Gift authorship, honorary authorship, ghost authorship, and the omission of eligible contributors are unacceptable. All authorship arrangements must reflect actual scholarly contributions to the work.
-
Changes in Authorship: Any addition, removal, or rearrangement of authors after manuscript submission must be justified in writing, approved by all authors involved, and authorized by the editor before the change is implemented.
By submitting a manuscript to Jurnal Teknologi Pembelajaran Indonesia, authors confirm that the authorship information is accurate, all listed authors meet the stated criteria, and all authors have approved the submission.
