Focus and Scope

Jurnal Penelitian dan Evaluasi Pendidikan Indonesia focuses on educational research, learning assessment, educational measurement, and program evaluation. The journal publishes original research articles that contribute to the advancement of educational theory, research methodology, teaching and learning practices, assessment, and evaluation.

The journal welcomes manuscripts addressing, but not limited to, the following areas:

1. Educational Research Methodology: Quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research, research design, data analysis, and methodological approaches in educational research.

2. Teaching and Learning Research: Research on teaching strategies, learning models, instructional approaches, student engagement, learning motivation, and learning outcomes.

3. Learning Media and Instructional Technology: Development and evaluation of instructional media, digital learning resources, educational games, and technology-supported learning.

4. Educational Measurement and Instrument Development: Development, adaptation, validation, and reliability testing of educational instruments, tests, scales, and questionnaires.

5. Learning Assessment and Evaluation: Assessment of learning outcomes, formative and summative assessment, authentic assessment, and evaluation of teaching and learning processes.

6. Curriculum and Educational Program Evaluation: Evaluation of curricula, educational programs, instructional interventions, and educational policies, including their implementation and effectiveness.

7. Psychometrics and Educational Testing: Test construction, item analysis, validity, reliability, measurement models, and psychometric approaches in educational contexts.

8. Educational Quality and Innovation: Research on educational quality improvement, innovative educational practices, and evidence-based approaches to improving teaching and learning.

The journal prioritizes manuscripts that demonstrate methodological rigor, originality, and meaningful contributions to educational research, theory, policy, or practice. All submissions must be relevant to the journal's focus on educational research, assessment, measurement, or evaluation.
