Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran Matematika Indonesia (JPPMI) is a scientific journal published by the Graduate School of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. The journal aims to provide a platform for the presentation and dissemination of the latest original works in mathematics education and learning. It welcomes practitioners, researchers, and scholars in mathematics education and learning to share (1) innovations and research findings, (2) practical experiences in teaching and learning, and (3) conceptual studies on developments in science and technology in the field of mathematics education.
The journal is published twice a year, in April and October. Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran Matematika Indonesia (JPPMI) is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Directorate General of Research and Development, and has been awarded Accreditation Rank 4 (SINTA 4) starting from Volume 11, Number 1 (2022), based on Decree No. 0173/C3/DT.05.00/2025 concerning the Notification of Accreditation Results for Scientific Journals, Period I of 2025. Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran Matematika Indonesia (JPPMI) has published articles through Open Journal Systems (OJS) 3 since 2020. This transition was necessary due to a system error in the previous platform (OJS 2), which resulted in a system cut-off. Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran Matematika Indonesia (JPPMI) contains 9 scientific articles addressing various issues in mathematics education and learning, including mathematical communication skills, the development of learning media and instructional materials, the use of digital technology, the implementation of innovative learning models, mathematical conceptual understanding, lesson planning, problem-solving and creative thinking skills, mathematics anxiety, and statistical modeling.
These articles were written by researchers and academics from 9 higher education institutions across 8 cities or locations in Indonesia and Malaysia, namely Semarang State University in Semarang, Universitas PGRI Ronggolawe in Tuban, Universitas PGRI Silampari in Lubuklinggau, Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang in Semarang, Universitas Tidar in Magelang, Ar-Raniry State Islamic University in Banda Aceh, Raden Intan State Islamic University of Lampung in Bandar Lampung, Universitas PGRI Jombang in Jombang, and Universiti Teknologi MARA in Malaysia.
The diversity of institutional affiliations reflects the contributions of academics from various regions to the advancement of research, innovation, and practices in mathematics education and learning.
